Kyler J. McMullin is an Associate Attorney at Ward Law LLC, where he is dedicated to guiding clients through life’s legal challenges. Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, Kyler has always valued community and connection, which now shape the way he practices law.

Kyler earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Management from Kansas State University. He’s a proud Wildcat. After graduation, he joined Ward Law as a paralegal, where his interest in family law began. He went on to attend Washburn University School of Law, where he gained hands-on experience through internships, clerkships with firms in Topeka and Wichita, and service in Washburn’s pro bono legal clinic.

At Ward Law, Kyler ensures that clients feel supported and understood as they navigate difficult family transitions. He values the collaborative spirit of the team, where challenges are met with creativity and problem-solving.

An active member of the American Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, and Wichita Bar Association, Kyler also devotes his time to the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, where he mentors Little Brother to help build his confidence and strengthen his future opportunities.

Outside of the office, Kyler enjoys water sports, cheering on the Chiefs, and the occasional round of left-handed golf--despite being right-handed. Friends and colleagues describe him as positive, smart, and helpful—qualities that shine through in both his professional and personal life.

Kyler lives by the philosophy: “You shouldn’t stress about problems you have no control over, and you shouldn’t stress about problems you can impact—because you can still impact the outcome.”
