Cynthia J. Zaczyk | Associate Attorney

Cynthia J. Zaczyk graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania. She holds a BA degree in Psychology, along with a double minor in Sociology and Forensic Science. In 2020, Cynthia earned her Juris Doctorate from Washburn University School of Law. While at Washburn, she gained valuable experience by clerking with a Topeka-based criminal defense and family law firm, as well as interning at the Washburn Law School Family Law Clinic.

Cynthia knew from age 11 that she wanted to be a lawyer. She grew up in the local motorcycle community in Erie, Pennsylvania. She saw first-hand the value of community service as her parents founded a non-profit organization called Riders Advocating Against Child Abuse. Cynthia was a member and served as a volunteer and historian of the group. Cynthia takes great pride in her lifelong dedication to advocating for those affected by child abuse and domestic violence. She is a passionate advocate for women’s rights, an extension of her unwavering commitment to human rights as a whole.

In her capacity as an Associate Attorney at Ward Law LLC, Cynthia plays a vital role in serving our clients’ family law needs. Cynthia meets with clients personally, advocating for them in a wide range of family law cases. She takes the lead in representing our clients during hearings, ensuring their interests are well-represented. Cynthia’s commitment extends beyond the courtroom, as she conducts thorough research, offering valuable insights and assisting Lynn and Jessica in their cases. She diligently tracks and summarizes legislative and case law developments, staying current with legal trends. Cynthia also serves as a dedicated representative for Ward Law LLC at Family Law Committee meetings, actively contributing to our legal community.

Cynthia is a dedicated Elvis Presley fan and has been to Graceland three times. Outside of her office hours, Cynthia continues her love of motorcycles. She and her husband, Brigg, ride rain or shine. Their furry family includes pets with creatively inspired names tied to the world of law, such as Liberty, a dog; Justice, a cat; Forall, a hamster; and Judge, another dog.
